Sustainable Packaging Coalition

Two C Pack has joined forces with The Sustainable Packaging Coalition (SPC), the packaging industry’s premier environmental organization. The SPC is an industry working group dedicated to a more robust environmental vision for packaging. Through strong member support, a science-based approach, supply chain collaborations and continuous outreach, the SPC endeavors to build packaging systems that encourage economic prosperity and a sustainable flow of materials.

Through our membership in the SPC we are able to offer customers a useful tool to help “green” up their packaging. COMPASS (Comparative Packaging Assessment) is online design software that enables packaging designers and engineers to assess the human and environmental impacts of package designs using a life cycle approach. COMPASS helps packaging designers make more informed material selections and design decisions by providing quick visual guidance on a common set of environmental indicators. COMPASS is now used by such companies as UPS, Proctor & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson.
